68 Torrance Homes Sell at $1,172,547 Average Price!Chatelaine townhomes at 2300 Plaza Del Amo Torrance

The number of homes may have been slightly down but prices were up once again.  April saw fewer homes close escrow than in March with 68 homes that sold compared with 73 in March.

Of the homes that sold 7 were in central Torrance with 3 in the gated communities of Plaza Del Amo.  There was one sale each in Windemere, Summerwind and Chatelaine.

The average “asking” price  was $1,161,585 with the average sale price at $1,172,547 which was a nice increase from $1,116,670 in March and  $1,150,939 in February.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $776 which was similar to $764 March.  Days on market, or DOM, was a brief 32 before selling and median days on market was only 10.

It’s been a busy few days with another listing in the gated community of Springwood in Plaza Del Amo hitting the market.  The latest home to hit the market in the gated communities of Plaza Del Amo is a fairly original (full disclosure we have’t seen it yet)  2 bedroom townhome.  The home is priced at $850,000 which seems to be on the high side given that #88, which was a larger and more updated unit just went up for sale at $859,000 .  That said the kitchen appears to have some updates, stainless appliances and there are updated floors in the unit.

Torrance Real Estate Market Report for March 2025Tradewinds 55+ senior condos

As expected things picked up a bit in terms of the number of homes that sold in Torrance.  There were 76 on market home sales in March 2025 compared with 57 in February.  See the home sales and home prices in Torrance below.

Of the 76 homes that sold 10 were in central Torrance and 4 in the gated communities of Plaza Del Amo.  There was one sale in Springwood, 1 in Windemere, 1 in Tradewinds and one in Chatalaine (highlighted below)

The average “asking” price of the homes that sold  was $1,109,146 with the average sold price at $1,116,670 which was down just a bit from the average price of $1,150,939 in February.
