Strong Month For Home Sales in and Around Plaza Del Amo

11 Home Sales at and Average Price of $925,455Windemere townhomes and condos community amenities

While April wasn’t as impressive as March, it was definitely a great month for both home sales and home prices.  There were 11 on market closed escrow compared with 13 in March.  It was a really strong month for the overall Torrance real estate market with 100 homes selling in April.

The average “list” price during the month was $888,454 with the average sold price at an impressive $925,455 meaning that homes generally sold well above full price.

Homes that sold averaged $637 per square foot and  averaged only 31 days on marke!

Of the 11 homes that sold….4 were in Windemere, 2 were in Sprinwood, 1 in Summerwind, 1 in La Terrazza and one in the Bungalows.

March a Big Month For Home Sales in Plaza Del Amo Area

Big Month in and Around Plaza Del Amo

13 Home Sales at and Average Price of $1,109,231

The real estate market in March was very impressive…..that’s for sure.  So much for high interest rates slowing down home sales. March 2024 was a great month for Torrance real estate by any metric  . The real estate market  picked up considerably with 89 home sales during March.  Compare that to 69 closed escrows in February and a very slow January with only  48 sold homes.

Torrance home prices were equally impressive.

The average “list” price during the month was $1,069,923 with the average sold price at an impressive $1,109,231 meaning that homes generally sold below the full price.

Homes that sold averaged $729 per square foot and  averaged only 8 days on marke!  That’s pretty incredible.

Of the 13 homes that sold….4 were in Windemere…..what a month!  Another was in the 55+ condo building of Trade Winds and one in South Bayport.

Things Picking Up for Real Estate in Torrance

69 Homes Sell in February West Torrance real estate

Welcome to the real estate recap for the month that was in Torrance CA. Things improved a bit with 69 home sales in February 2024 compared with only 48 in January.

The average “listing” price  was $959,384 with the average sold price at $993,758 meaning that homes generally sold for over full price during the month.

Homes averaged $692 a square foot and days on market averaged 29 before going into escrow.  That was quite a bit shorter than some neighboring cities.
