While this is technically in the neighborhood of Old Torrance, it’s just across the street and more often than not, Village on Oak is considered one of the newer complexes in the Plaza Del Amo neighborhoods of Torrance.

Located just across from Wilson Park, unit #337 in Village on Oak is a very nice 2 bedroom, 2 1/2  bath multi-level townhome with a number of original builder upgrades.

Village on Oak is one of the newer complexes in the area so homes always have that newer feel.  This latest home to hit the market is no different and some of the beautiful features include hardwood floors in the living spaces, open kitchen with  dark wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, fireplace and interior laundry.

The unit has a traditional floorplan with the open living, kitchen and dining areas on the lower level and both bedrooms on the upper level.

April Another Big Month For Plaza Del Amo Real Estate

Strong Month For Home Sales in and Around Plaza Del Amo

11 Home Sales at and Average Price of $925,455Windemere townhomes and condos community amenities

While April wasn’t as impressive as March, it was definitely a great month for both home sales and home prices.  There were 11 on market closed escrow compared with 13 in March.  It was a really strong month for the overall Torrance real estate market with 100 homes selling in April.

The average “list” price during the month was $888,454 with the average sold price at an impressive $925,455 meaning that homes generally sold well above full price.

Homes that sold averaged $637 per square foot and  averaged only 31 days on marke!

Of the 11 homes that sold….4 were in Windemere, 2 were in Sprinwood, 1 in Summerwind, 1 in La Terrazza and one in the Bungalows.

While it’s probably just the way real estate goes, it’s been pretty amazing as with the addition of unit #313 there have now been three Springwood homes on the market since the beginning of May.  The other two were both 2 bedroom units and quickly went into escrow after 5 days and 13 days on the market.    2931 Plaza Del Amo Unit#20 was a two bedroom listed at $820,000 and the other was a slightly larger 2 bedroom townhome at 2971 Plaza Del Amo Unit#201 that was also priced at $820,000.

This newest listing is a corner 3 bedroom but that’s about all we know about it.  The listing is below but offers only a few pictures and a one sentence description so we don’t know much more than that at the moment.  The home is listed by Masao Haga of Berkshire Hathaway.

The townhomes of Springwood feature fairly open layouts and sliders to the ground floor patio so it’s a great place to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
