April Another Big Month For Plaza Del Amo Real Estate

Strong Month For Home Sales in and Around Plaza Del Amo

11 Home Sales at and Average Price of $925,455Windemere townhomes and condos community amenities

While April wasn’t as impressive as March, it was definitely a great month for both home sales and home prices.  There were 11 on market closed escrow compared with 13 in March.  It was a really strong month for the overall Torrance real estate market with 100 homes selling in April.

The average “list” price during the month was $888,454 with the average sold price at an impressive $925,455 meaning that homes generally sold well above full price.

Homes that sold averaged $637 per square foot and  averaged only 31 days on marke!

Of the 11 homes that sold….4 were in Windemere, 2 were in Sprinwood, 1 in Summerwind, 1 in La Terrazza and one in the Bungalows.

One of the newest listings in the Plaza Del Amo and central Torrance areas is a spacious 3 level townhome in the relatively small community known as Bungalows or Beach Cities Bungalows.

#199 is an end unit so only one side has shared walls making it not only quieter, but making for more windows and more light.

The gated community of Bungalows was built in 2005 so it still has that newer look and feel and the amenities that most are still looking for.    The unit itself didn’t have many original builder upgrades so it’s more of the base type package with white tile counters instead of granite, white cabinets, carpets instead of hardwood, etc. but it does have plantation shutters.   As with all of the units this townhome has central a/c and heat, in unit laundry and a 3-car garage.
