March escrows bring April closings….or something like that. There were 22 pending sales in the Central Torrance/Plaza Del Amo area in March which is a BIG jump from previous months. The chart below shows pending sales as the red line, active listings as the light green bar and closed sales at the dark green bar.
March was back to being a big month in terms of both the number of homes that sold in Torrance as well as the prices that they sold for. March 2022 saw 107 on
MLS closed home sales which was a increase from February in which there were 76 sold homes.

While it’s not technically in the Plaza Del Amo area of Torrance (from a real estate perspective it’s located in the Old Torrance area) it’s just
across the street and definitely worth knowing about. This newest home on the market is in the community of The Village on Oak. We don’t know much about the condition of this home as there are currently no photos of the interior (post written on 4/4/22) but we’re hoping to get in for a look in the next few days.
The newest home on the market in the gated communities of Plaza Del Amo and central Torrance is a nice and bright west facing townhome in the community of Summerwind.
The home is clean and updated with beautiful hardwood floors, granite counters, recessed lights and more. The private patio overlooks the pool in this nicely maintaned gated community. Both bedrooms are on the upper level, each with private bath. HOA
The newest home on the market in the gated communities of Plaza Del Amo and central Torrance is a nice and bright 2 bed, 2 1/2 bath townhome in Springwood. 
The home was built in 1985 but 2931 Plaza Del Amo Unit #80 has been extensively updated with new floors, paint, countertops and more. The lower level patio overlooks the pool and spa area making it all the better.
