Two New Listings in Summerwind Hit the Market on Same Day

If you’re looking to buy a townhome in the gated community of SummerWind in the Plaza Del Amo area of Torrance there were two townhomes that came up for sale last week.

The first is a beautifully updated and remodeled 2 bed 2 bath home located at 2800 Plaza Del Amo Unit#31 and priced at $769,000.

The second is a slightly larger 2 bedroom home that has also been updated (not quite to the extent of #31) at 2800 Plaza del Amo #82 priced at $779,000.  Take a look!

Plaza Del Amo Home Sales and Prices for Septemberbelmar

It was a slow month for both the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for in the Plaza Del Amo neighborhood of Torrance.  Only 5 homes sold in September 2022 in the gated communities and the central Torrance area in general.

The average asking price for the homes that sold last month was a very impressive $914,580 with the average sold price at $918,400 meaning that homes sold close, but slightly higher than full price.  Previous months had all been homes selling above full price on average.

The Plaza Del Amo area was one of the only neighborhoods in all of the South Bay to average higher sales prices than list prices.  The average days on market for the homes that sold was a very brief 17 and average price per foot for the month was $614.

Of the homes that sold one was in Windemere, one in Summerwind and one in Belmar.  The home in Belmar located at 2785 Maricopa Street sold for an impressive $1,275,000.

This new listing in the gated community of Summerwind in Plaza Del Amo just came on the market the week of 5/10. Priced at $675,000 this is a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhome with approximately 1,273 square feet. Although it’s in fairly original condition it’s clearly been well taken care of since it was built in 1989.
