Plaza Del Amo September Sale of the Month – 3 Bedroom Home At The Breakers Sells for $1,000,000

The highest priced sale in the Torrance communities of Plaza Del Amo for September was a 3 bedroom 3 bath freestanding single family style home. The home offered almost 2,300 square feet and was located in the gated community of The Breakers at Plaza Del Amo. Built in 2003 and very well maintained the home had a newer feel with hardwood floors, fairly modern & updated kitchen, air conditioning and offered great light and space. The home sold for $1,000,000 and went into escrow after just 10 days on the market.

Torrance Real Estate – April 2020 Home Sales and Home Prices

Torrance saw a drop in home sales for April but it wasn’t nearly as signnificant as some areas.  Some other South Bay cities actually saw anChatelaine townhomes at 2300 Plaza Del Amo Torrance over 50% drop in home sales from the year before.   In April Torrance saw 81 home sales in April which was well below the 99 sold homes from this time a year ago but still a solid number..  The median list price for the homes that sold was $789,000 with the median “sold” price of $779,000 indicating a strong seller’s market.

There’s No Place Like Home – CA Residents Update

While many struggle with the affordability of housing in California, a recent CAR study shows that most people would not consider moving to another state despite better affordability elsewhere. The survey showed that 63% of the respondents wouldn’t move out of California,  16% would consider it but haven’t given it much thought and only 21% have actively thought about moving to another state.  Although affordability is different for everyone….take a look at the current homes for sale in the Plaza Del Amo communities of Torrance.
