Alternative for Seniors – New 55+ Condo in Resort Style Village Court

While this condo isn’t technically in the Plaza Del Amo neighborhod of Torrance, it’s nearby and it’s a 55+ senior building we’ve always thought was great. New to the market in the Southwood is a beautiful one bedroom condo in the 55+ senior building of Village Court. Despite the address of 21345 Hawthorne Blvd, the building is actually pretty far from Hawthorne Blvd. Village Court was built in 2005 and has a real resort feel with some impressive amenities including a beautiful pool and jacuzzi central to the buildings, beautiful pool deck with lounge chairs as well as tables to sit or dine, outdoor fireplace, BBQs, rec room with billiards table, flat screen TV, library, and on site fitness center. The Gables 1 Bedroom Condo – Currently the Least Expensive Home in Plaza Del Amo Area
The least expensive home at the moment in and around the Plaza Del Amo communities is a very nice one bedroom condo in the 55+ senior community of The Gables. The gables is located at 3550 Torrance Blvd. It was built in 2006 so it still have a much newer feel than just about anything comparable in price. The condo is priced at $345,000 and is a 1 bedroom 1 bath single level with approximately 507 square feet. The second lowest priced home in the area also happens to be in The Gables.

June was back to being a busy month for real estate in the Plaza Del Amo area. This was a big difference from the slow market in April and May due to the
uncertainty from the Covid situation. June 2020 saw a big uptick in the number of home sales in the Plaza Del Amo area as well as home sales in all of Torrance CA.
Of the homes that sold there was a sale in Tradewinds 55+ community, 55+ on Oak, as well as Springwood, Windemere, Summer Wind and the Verdi Collection.
