There are homes we don’t know much about….and then there are homes that we no nothing about. This is one of the latter. This listing is a probate sale (not needing court confirmation thankfully as that’s a miserable experience) with tenants that have been served notice to vacate. Due to this there are no photos and nothing is really known of the condition. The home was last sold in 1994 for there’s no past listings or photos to look at. Making it even more complicated (possibly) is that there appears to be a mortgage from 2022 at $1,395,000 which is another mystery. It’s possible and even likely it’s a reverse mortgage in which they didn’t actually use much of the funds but we just don’t know.
As the last three bedroom in Chatelaine at 2300 Maple Ave Unit#37 sold at $1,030,000 in December, there’s a chance that this is a deal at this price but given what we know, it seems likely to sell below their list price….if at all. Who knows though…..maybe the mystery reveals that it’s a beautiful home.
